I've changed my IP address, but it does not work . . .
We have discovered that some network equipment will retain the WebReboot 3.0's old IP address in its ARP cache after you've changed its address. There is no definitive list of which equipment exerts this problem, but the fix is universal. The first thing to try is clearing the ARP cache on your system. From a command prompt, type the following:
arp -d *
If that does not fix the problem, please try resetting any network equipment connected between your WebReboot and your computer. This will force a cache refresh in those devices.
If neither of those work, you can reset your IP address using a crossover cable. After the IP address is set, you should be able to attach it to your network without any further difficulty.
